My sleep apnea journey

This is a diary of my experiences as a sleepy mom, through apnea diagnosis and treatment. I have appreciated the information I have learned on the internet and especially appreciate the personal accounts of other's journeys. Stay tuned, it will be a wild ride.

Frustrating Arrythmias

Well, I continue to have a dozen or more arrythmia episodes per week. I saw my doctor on Friday and was sent to the cardiology center to be fitted with a 72 hour holter monitor. Well, frustratingly, who knew that the mere act of hooking up a holter monitor could cure erratic heartbeats? I have had the quietest couple of days in months! It is like taking a feverish, vomiting child to the pediatrician. They arrive afebrile and smiling - and then vomit in the car on the way home.

I have a call into the doctor's office to see if we can try a 30 day monitor. I will let you know how things shake out.
